Once enrolled, you must meet the eligibility requirements each subsequent year with an annual reassessment. Details about the reassessment process have yet to be released.

To be eligible for coverage under the CDCP, applicants must attest every year that they do not have access to private dental insurance.

Existing CDCP members

Renewals for the benefit year open on April 15 and close on June 1.

New applicants

Applications for the current CDCP benefit year (2025-2026) close on April 14, 2026.
Applications for the 2026-2027 benefit year will open on June 2, 2026.
